Air Attack Volleyball Club is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization based in Richmond BC. The purpose of the club is to help young adults with life skills, to develop a sense of community and to become better people through volleyball. All of our coaches are volunteers and most are active coaches within the school and volleyball community. Our hope is that through volleyball, those young adults will learn life lessons that will shape them for the rest of their lives.
Many of our alumni have moved on to all levels of volleyball from provincial teams to national teams as well as playing for post-secondary schools. Many of our coaches are also former Air Attack players and our hope is to continue this tradition through Air Attack. Air Attack strives to help young people in all aspects of their lives.
Our team and age group selections/compositions will take into account a focus on Richmond based athletes, either by residence or school. Our goal as a club is to develop volleyball in Richmond and surrounding communities by providing opportunities for athletes locally.
The intent of this statement is to:
1. Ensure the development of our community relationships including but not limited to the Richmond School District and the City of Richmond
2. Engage, retain, and develop local athletes to ensure the long term sustainability of the club
3. To increase access to a strong local volunteer base of coaches, managers, and stakeholders.
